About
I’m from Stourbridge in the UK (well originally a bit further North) but I’m currently located in mid Wales where I have recently entered the second year of my Computer Science degree at Aberystwyth University. I have a strong interest in Free/Open Source Software (FOSS), particularly Ubuntu, which I run on all my machines (including my parents’).
Starting with the 24/10/2007 meeting I have been attending Wolverhamton Linux User group (wolveslug) meetings, where I have so far met some very freindly and interesting people, and through which joined the crew of two LugRadio Lives (2008 and 2009) and attended the first ever OggCamp.
Also, since 2000 I have been attending the 1st Lye Boys’ Brigade (the world’s oldest, uniformed youth organisation, the forefathers of the Scouts) company, where I recently received my Queen’s Badge and the website of which, I created and maintain, using the awesomeness that is Drupal.
